KIMCH Jewellery is designed to be gentle on your skin and always working towards making more tarnish-resistant pieces. We understand the importance of comfortable, high-quality jewellery that won't cause irritation or discolouration.

We're proud to design and hand-assemble all our pieces right here in Australia. Our high-quality findings are sourced from China and USA. To ensure authenticity, our gold-filled pieces are spot-tested in a Hong Kong lab and acid tested.

Understanding Your Jewellery

 Gold Filled

Gold-filled jewellery contains at least 5% solid gold, bonded to a base metal like sterling silver or brass through a heat and pressure process. This creates a thick, durable layer of solid gold.

Hypoallergenic: Gold-filled jewellery is generally hypoallergenic and suitable for those with sensitive skin. Nickel, Lead and Cadmium Free

Water-Safe: Gold-filled jewellery is safe to wear in water.

 Sterling Silver

Sterling silver is a popular alloy composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, typically copper. This combination enhances the metal's strength, durability, and resistance to tarnish compared to pure silver.

Hypoallergenic: Sterling silver jewellery is generally hypoallergenic and suitable for those with sensitive skin. Nickel, Lead and Cadmium Free

Water-Safe: Sterling silver jewellery is safe to wear in water.

Care Instructions: Your sterling silver jewellery is a timeless piece that can last a lifetime with proper care. Exposure to air and moisture will cause a natural tarnish to develop over time, which is completely normal.

  • For regular care: Gently polish your jewellery with a soft, non-abrasive microfiber or dedicated silver polishing cloth. This will remove light tarnish and maintain its beautiful shine.

  • To restore its original appearance: For heavier tarnish, use a liquid silver dip or a small amount of silver polish following the product's instructions. Always rinse thoroughly with water and dry completely afterwards.

Gold & Rhodium Plating

Our gold and rhodium plating involves electroplating a base metal (like brass or sterling silver) with a thin layer of gold or rhodium.  Plated jewellery offers a beautiful and luxurious finish.

Hypoallergenic: Our plated jewellery is generally hypoallergenic and suitable for those with sensitive skin. Nickel, Lead and Cadmium Free

Care Instructions: To maintain its appearance, we recommend removing it before swimming, showering, or applying lotions and perfumes. With proper care, your plated pieces will remain beautiful for a long time.

PVD Gold Stainless Steel & Stainless Steel

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is an advanced technological process that bonds a layer of 18k gold over stainless steel in a high-temperature vacuum chamber. This creates an extremely durable, scratch-resistant, and tarnish-resistant coating.

Hypoallergenic: Our stainless jewellery is generally hypoallergenic and suitable for those with sensitive skin. Nickel, Lead and Cadmium Free

Water-Safe: Stainless steel is safe to wear in water.
